Applied Theatre to Engage LTC Staff & Students in Experiential Learning: Train-the-Trainer Workshop for Educators
Educators of staff and students in long-term care and in the field of aging are invited to learn about the use of applied theatre as an educational method to foster interprofessional learning.
Applied theatre uses facilitated theatre games and exercises to help participants reflect deeply on concepts essential to professional healthcare practice such as communication and empathy.
No prerequisites. This workshop is suitable for educators interested and open to experiential approaches to learning. No previous experience or training in any arts modalities are required to participate.
Complimentary registration for educators working in long-term care. For educators working outside of long-term care, limited spaces are available. Limited travel bursaries for LTCH Educators available if > 1.5 h travel. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
