Long-term care nurses have a key role to play to ensure the best quality of life and care for residents and a healthy work environment for the team. Everyday, nurses have to work effectively with a broad range of people across departments and roles, as well as with residents who have high care and support needs. The Ontario CLRI at Bruyère has released three eLearning modules that allow nurses to enhance their clinical leadership skills, from anywhere! The modules include a collection of realistic scenarios and scenario-based practice to help nurses navigate situations of conflict, communicate with confidence and learn how to thrive as clinical leaders.
The eLearning training allows nurses to learn how to apply effective communication techniques and effective strategies for managing conflict in a variety of situations and with a variety of people and recognize how they can demonstrate leadership in their day-to-day work in three short modules:
