The role of the PAC is to:

  • Provide advice and guidance on CLRI initiatives
  • Provide feedback on CLRI tools, resources and communications
  • Share knowledge, resources and innovative practices
  • Identify priorities and challenges for long-term care homes
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration, networking and knowledge mobilization
  • Communicate to key decision-makers in their respective communities

Additional Input

The diverse needs of those living and working in LTC are also supported by two Ontario CLRI advisory committees that identify and develop resources for diversity initiatives (language, gender, age, ability, ethnicity, religion, and sexual orientation) and Indigenous culture.

The input we receive guides the direction of leading practices in research, influences priority setting at more than a dozen regional and provincial sector committees and working groups, and helps the Ontario CLRI prioritize resources and training for future development.
