PRESENTER:

DR. SAUMIL DHOLAKIA MBBS, MD, PGD, MHSc
Dr. Saumil Dholakia is a clinical fellow in Geriatric Psychopharmacology and Geriatric Psychiatry at Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, McMaster University and GeriMedRisk. Previously, Saumil has worked as a consultant psychiatrist for 10 years with Christian Medical College, Vellore. He is a Bioethicist with a Post-graduate Diploma from Bharathiar University Coimbatore and a Master’s degree from the Joint Center of Bioethics, University of Toronto. His areas of interests are pharmacogenomics in older adults, pharmacologically informed clinical decision-making, deprescribing ethics and MAiD in people with Dementia.
