Resident Interaction for Environmental Services Team Members

Team members in long-term care, including maintenance, laundry, food service, and housekeeping teams, frequently interact with residents living with dementia or other complex, chronic health conditions. Without the right knowledge, they may not know how to properly respond to residents or unknowingly compromise resident safety. Our eLearning activity will enhance the impact of long-term care teams by ensuring all team members are equipped with the knowledge to effectively support and respond to residents.

This short, interactive activity will take approximately 7 minutes and is open to all. Learners will explore seven resident interaction scenarios team members commonly encounter and suggestions on how to respond.
