The Living Classroom is an innovative educational experience developed by the Schlegel-UW Research Insitute for Aging (RIA) and Conestoga College for students whose career path will lead them to work with older adults. Personal Support Worker education is one of many Living Classroom experiences. The education program is delivered in a LTC home, led by a post-secondary educator and involving students and those living and working in the long-term care home within a culture of interactive learning.
