Join us for Virtual Community of Practice Peer Support sessions. The group is open to Registered Social Workers and Registered Social Service Workers, who are working in Ontario LTC homes. Social work students who are completing placements in the LTC sector are also welcome to participate.
On a monthly basis, we come together virtually to discuss issues impacting psychosocial care of residents living in LTC homes, and relevant practice related topics for LTC social workers and social service workers. We share relevant resources, learning opportunities and discuss successes and current challenges.
Sessions are hosted by the Ontario CLRI at Bruyère and Family Councils Ontario and co-facilitated with Karin Adlhoch, part-time faculty at York University, School of Social Work, and former Resident Services Manager at Cummer Lodge (City of Toronto LTC Homes).
