Join us for Virtual Community of Practice Peer Support sessions. On a monthly basis, we bring together social workers and social service workers from long-term care (LTC) homes across Ontario, to discuss issues impacting psychosocial care of residents living in LTC homes, as well as impacts of COVID-19 on LTC social work practice. We share relevant resources, learning opportunities and discuss successes and current challenges.
Sessions will be hosted by Family Councils Ontario and the Ontario CLRI at Bruyère, and co-facilitated with Karin Adlhoch, part-time faculty at York University, School of Social Work, and former resident services manager at Cummer Lodge (City of Toronto LTC Homes).
The Community of Practice sessions happen virtually on a monthly basis.
