Training for Secondary School Students

  • Resource Type: Training
  • Posted On: May 21, 2019
  • Audience(s): Educators, Students

It is important for students to be prepared before beginning their placement in a long-term care (LTC) home. In addition to training provided by the school, the placement supervisor at the LTC home will also identify necessary training and resources for the student.

The following resources can also be used to help prepare students for an experiential learning placement in an LTC or retirement home. We recommend that all students pursuing placements in review these and all of the recommended training material.
