The Ontario CLRI at Baycrest is excited to announce that registration for Level Two of the Specialized Educator Certificate in LTC (SECL) is now open!
This free, virtual, evidence-based program supports long-term care (LTC) team members in Ontario who plan, coordinate, and/or deliver education in long-term care.
SECL supports team members in upgrading their knowledge and skills through experiential learning and peer collaboration. It is the only specialized educator program specific to LTC.
Level Two builds on the foundation of Level One to help LTC team members to strengthen their relational education practice through interactive, synchronous virtual workshops focused on key educator competencies.
You must have completed Level One, or be completing Level One in December 2025, to register for Level Two. Deadline to register is November 21, 2025.
