This introductory course shows how small changes in the way you care for others can better support their cultural needs. You will learn the main ideas of cultural humility, with real-life examples of how different interprofessional team members apply these concepts in long-term care homes. The course also looks at power and responsibility in teams, and why it’s important to care for each person in a way that fits their needs. You’ll practice through interactive scenarios, reflective questions, and learning activities.
