FLTCA Alignment: 83-Orientation for volunteers 

Every licensee of a long-term care home shall develop and implement an orientation program for volunteers that includes information on the following areas: Residents’ Bill of Rights, mission statement, policy to promote zero tolerance of abuse and neglect of residents, duty under section 28 to make mandatory reports, fire safety and universal infection prevention and control practices, and the protections afforded by section 30.
