Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in Long-Term Care
Publish Date:
Practical knowledge of equity, diversity and inclusion enables long-term care home teams to build respectful, affirming and inclusive environments, that foster a sense of belonging and safety for those who live, work and visit there. This suite of resources, tailored to long-term care settings, offers practical strategies and tools to help advance equity, and support inclusivity and belonging.
Led by the Ontario CLRI at Bruyère Health and supported by the Ontario CLRI at the RIA, this work is guided by a dynamic Advisory Committee with representatives from across the sector, including LTC home representatives (including residents living in LTC homes in Ontario), sector partner organizations and associations, and researchers.
We host a quarterly Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in LTC Community of Practice for representatives from Ontario-based LTC homes. If you are interested in participating, please register here.
