This course covers risk factors affecting skin integrity and wound healing, common skin and wound concerns in LTC, assessment timing, prevention strategies, and communication of care plans. Through case studies and interactive activities, learners will build skills to recognize issues, implement care, and coordinate effectively with residents, care partners, and team members.
