This course helps you care for residents living with dementia using a person-centred, strengths-based approach while also following infection prevention and control (IPAC) best practices. You will learn through scenarios such as meeting a resident’s needs while they are in isolation, assisting a resident to stay in their isolation area, administering a nasal swab, and assisting a resident with effective hand-washing.
